Excellence at Ballou Scholarship

Scholarship Details

The College Success Foundation - DC Excellence at Ballou Scholarship is a scholarship program funded by the Sylarn Foundation and provides five-year scholarships to deserving students at Ballou Senior High School who need assistance attending college. Scholarships are provided by the benefactor and are generally $5,000 per year for up to five years for a maximum of $25,000. In addition to the scholarship, students will receive comprehensive services that support their academic progression through college. The selected scholars are assigned a CSF-DC staff member as their point of contact, and the advisors provide all college students with ongoing support, collaborating with the students’ personal supports and on-campus support staffs to ensure students are connecting to academic advisors, tutoring, and health care counselors.
